How I Wish He Knew

you go through your life
looking for that special someone
and never find them
and when you think you find them
you can't have them

it's amazing how someone
can have so much of an impact
on another person
without even knowing it
someone can want and "need"
another person so badly and
no one else around them
can understand exactly
what they're feeling,
especially that one certain person
that you want to understand

there is always that one person
that you would just die to have notice you
you look at him and your heart melts..
your knees quiver..
you have to remind yourself to breathe..
and out of nowhere
it seems like you and him
are the only ones in the room
and anything could happen

but he doesn't know all of this is going on.
he doesn't know how you feel.
he doesn't know that maybe...
a brush of his arm on yours
will make your whole day...
or a look or glance from him
towards your direction
will just blow you away...
or one little word spoken
from his mouth to you will
make you the happiest girl in the world.

he doesn't know anything!
