I wish I could just tell what is in my heart
When you started asking questions from the start
What would you do if you knew?

I think of all the signs you've shown
Some were okay, and some were like my own
What would you do if you knew?

If I could only say "I am falling in love with you"
What would you do?
Would you scream and yell,
or run and tell?
Or just by chance would you love me back?

But still each night when I go to sleep
I'll dream a dream so sweet
It's the dream when I told you "I love you"
And you hold me in your arms and say
"I love you too"
